Eyelash Extensions FAQ's

Q. What Are Eyelash Extensions?

A revolutionary advanced product that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual eyelash on a hair by hair basis for a natural, elegant and luxurious look. They are perfect for special occasions or for day to day wear.

Q. What do they look like and how do they feel?

With proper application, the eyelash extensions look and feel completely real!

Q. How long do Eyelash Extensions Last?

When applied properly, semi-permanent lashes last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. The glue is specially formulated with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last. Imitation products may not last as long because their bonding agent is not of the same quality as ours.

Q. How often should I get touch-ups?

We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks. Your natural eyelashes fall off every 60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. A touch up is needed to replenish the fallen lashes. Touch ups generally take a short time and are relatively inexpensive.

Q. Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?

Indeed, one of the main advantages is never needing mascara again. However, if you absolutely must have it, only water based mascara can be used. You can purchase our specially formulated mascara. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara can dissolve the bonding agent and cause the eyelash extensions to fall off.

Q. Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing these Eyelash Extensions?

Yes. Our specially formulated bonding agent allows you to shower, swim, exercise, and spa worry-free. You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Do not swim or spa for 2 days after the procedure to allow adequate bonding time, after that you can swim and spa worry free.

Q. Can I use Eyelash Curlers with Eyelash Extensions?

You CANNOT use MECHANICAL eyelash curlers as these curlers will damage the eyelash extensions. They are created with a beautiful curl, but for those of you who want an extreme curl look we recommend using our specially made heated eyelash curler that is safe to use with your eyelash extensions.

Q. How do I take care of the Eyelash Extensions?

Your new eyelash extensionsare long, thick and beautiful! To maintain this look and extend the life of your lashes, follow these easy care instructions:

  • Do not wash eyes, swim, or shower for 12 hours after lash application, preferably 24 hours to allow adequate time for bonding.
  • Be gentle with your lashes.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes.
  • Do not use an eyelash curler.
  • Avoid oil-based makeup products, including mascara and eye-makeup remover. These will disintegrate the glue bond.
  • With eyelash extensions, mascara will not be necessary. However, if you absolutely must use it, use only water-based mascara. Do not use oil-based mascara, or waterproof mascara. Apply mascara on the tips, only. Use water based mascara sparingly because very frequent use may shorten the life of the eyelash extensions.
  • Use only water-based facial cleansers.
  • Use only water-based eye-makeup remover. Remember to be gentle with your lashes while removing eye-makeup.
  • Do not visit saunas or steam rooms frequently. Routine exposure to heat may cause the bond to loosen.
  • Apply our protective coating agent 2 to 3 times weekly to your new lashes to preserve the look and extend the life. Brush on from the base up to the tips. The coating also gives the lashes a wonderful shine!
  • We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks. Five weeks or longer will be considered a full set.

Q. Can you describe the application process?
